CLI Reference
The agentvisor CLI provides commands for building images and running agents.
Installation
# Install via script (recommended)
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/manetu/agentvisor/main/install.sh | sh
# Or via Homebrew
brew tap manetu/homebrew-tap
brew install manetu/tap/agentvisor
# Verify
agentvisor --help

Commands

a2a | Interact with configured A2A agents |
build | Build a combined AgentVisor™ image from your agent source |
completion | Generate the autocompletion script for the specified shell |
exec | Start an interactive terminal session inside an AgentVisor sandbox |
mcp | Interact with configured MCP servers |
run | Run a single agent execution and exit |
schema | Generate schema manifest for agent graphs |
serve | Start AgentVisor™ and wait for API requests |
template | Manage agent project templates |
Global Options

--config | Config overlay file(s) to merge (can be repeated; later files override earlier) |
-q, --quiet | Suppress all output except errors |
-v, --verbose | Show detailed output including debug info |
Examples
# Build a container image
agentvisor build ./my-agent -t my-agent:v1
# Serve locally for development (docker mode is default, policy auto-loaded)
agentvisor serve ./my-agent
# Run once with input
agentvisor run ./my-agent \
